FRONT featured in Taschen Book “Web Design: Interactive & Games”

We’re delighted to announce that FRONT has been featured in the newly published Taschen book “Web Design: Interactive & Games”. The book showcases 100 of the world’s most engaging and interactive sites.

The global market for character brands is fiercely competitive and fast moving; a fact that was recognised by the team at Bang on the Door who asked FRONT to create a fun, immersive, audience-focused site for their range of characters. The Bang on the Door site needed to bring the Groovy Chick character and her friends to life in a way that was relevant and engaging for the target audience.

Building on the fantastic artwork created by the Bang on the Door studio we conceived, designed and built a site that features an engaging user interface, fun downloads and activities for children (of all ages) - all of which is underpinned by a bespoke Ruby on Rails content management system. The site has continued to grow and develop since its launch and attracts many (many) thousands of new and return visitors each month.

We are extremely proud that the site has now been featured alongside other exceptional work in the Taschen book; the end product is a testament to the hard work of the whole team at FRONT.
