We had a lot of fun at Bizcamp Dublin on Saturday; it was great to meet passionate, enthusiastic people trying to start and grow their businesses.
Bizcamp, as you probably know, is a user-organised conference (albeit some users did slightly more organising than others) designed to bring companies together to learn from each other and to talk about their work.
There was a huge range of useful talks; my own favourites were Niall Harbison talking about how to market your business via the web, and Emily Tully on getting started with public relations.
One of the great things about events like this is that you get to meet people that you know (virtually) and respect. I had the pleasure of talking to Alan O’Rourke, Keith Bohanna, and Campbell Scott amongst others.
For anyone who was there, you can leave feedback via SpeakerRate. I know the idea of being rated isn’t for everyone but feel free to be honest :)

Wow thanks for the kind comments about the talk, much appreciated. Agreed that it was a most useful day :)
