The Front studio is currently celebrating wins for our clients the Abbey Theatre and Island Lolly, while enjoying industry recognition for our design capabilities at the IDI Design Awards, Irish Web Awards and the .Net Awards.
For a studio that doesn’t normally enter awards, we appear to be doing rather well.
The IDI Design Awards have been recognising good Irish design for the last 12 years, and we were chuffed to be shortlisted alongside other talented designers from across the Island; John McDaid (Donegal), Stuart Curry (Dublin) and Karen Hanratty (Dublin).
At the award ceremony last week our work for the Abbey Theatre won Best Web Design, followed closely by Islandlolly.com which was Highly Commended by the judges.
Two weeks ago, the Abbey Threatre received Best Arts Website at the Irish Web Awards. This was an important win for the national theatre of Ireland, who deserve the recognition. The Abbey’s director Fiach Mac Conghail and his public affairs team take the web as a communication channel very seriously. And we always feel lucky to have the opportunity to help them achieve their vision.
”...basking in the warm glow and pride for the public affairs team at @AbbeyTheatre for winning best arts website at @irishwebawards #iwa10”

We were also delighted to be nominated in August for the Design Agency of the Year at the .Net Awards. Although this is one we won’t be winning, we’re looking forward to rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s most respected designers at the awards ceremony in London.
Many thanks to clients and friends of Front who have taken the time to vote for us and show their support. Awards are just one of many indicators that we are doing a good job. These recent events set the bar high for us - to continue working hard on behalf of our clients.
