The Future of Web Design, London 2008

Conference season seems to be in full swing and the FRONT team are very much out on patrol, with Paul attending Web 2.0 in San Francisco from the 22nd of April and myself attending The Future of Web Design in London on the 16th April…

FOWD is a conference organised by Carson Workshops. The focus of the event is on inspiration, advice and best practice for the industry. Attending the event will be very beneficial as I intend to make the most of the range of motivating panels and meeting up with my web design peers.

The Carsonified team have done a great job of rounding up some top names from the Web design industry for our listening/viewing pleasure. This years panellists include:

Andy Budd with "Designing the User Experience Curve & Guerrilla Usability Testing" (I wonder is this a hint towards Silverback?). Daniel Burka and "Evolving the User Experience". Steve Pearce "User Experience v Brand Experience" and Larissa Meek with a panel about "Getting your designs approved" to name a few.

You can follow my shenanigans on Twitter and keep your eye out for live photos from FOWD08 via Flickr. If you`re attending this year, give me a shout, It is sure to be an inspirational event and I am looking forward to attending.

Listing the talks you’re most interested in in a blog post is the new not really knowing what talks are actually happening. Maybe cya there, Eamonn!

FOWD is going to be so so cool. The workshops look great! I think they may have (slightly) overdone the “Sold Out” banners on the site though :)
