Super Duper Senior Creative Required

FRONT produces great work for clients from across the UK and Ireland. We are a small and dedicated team with varied skills and an agile mindset that gives us plenty of creative freedom. As part of our continued growth we require a passionate and experienced web designer with at least 3-5 years studio experience to help us craft more lovely stuff for the web.

Responsibilities:

Design Activities
* Creative requirements capture
* Brainstorming and paper prototyping
* Wireframe layout design
* Information Architecture
* Look & feel layout design
* Animation prototyping (flash)

Design Documentation
* Writing design briefs
* Competitive Analysis
* Information Architecture Diagrams
* Preparation of presentation material for client pitches

Team involvement
* Coaching and developing junior design staff
* Participation in team workshops
* Estimation and planning with project managers

Competencies:

You will be a driven individual with the ability to balance pixel perfection with commercial savvy, relishing constructive criticism and giving as good as you get.

You will have the ability to help interpret and develop customers’ requirements into conceptual ideas and creative output. You will be able to talk about and rationalise your design decisions to both clients and staff.

A working knowledge of standards based XHTML/CSS and Flash loveliness are a must. Experience of design management, Art direction and video/animation skills are also a great asset.

Your written English will be top-notch and you will have the ability to document your ideas in text, on paper and on screen.

You will be able to manage your own time and find ‘creative space’ even when under pressure. A strong team player, you must instruct, coach and encourage junior designers and others around you. We believe in spreading the love.
